We take you on a journey to the heart of African culture, Morocco, every Thursday, bringing you authentic Moroccan music and instruments that will make your compositions stand out.

We kick off in the city of Essaouira, known for its popular Gnawa music. Here, we've gathered some percussion rhythms from the renowned karkab instrument, along with some basslines from the famous Guembri.

Next, we head to Marrakesh, where the rich Moroccan culture of the Amazigh and Arabs is brought to life through the sounds of the darbouka and the Moroccan flute.

Our journey then takes us to the historic city of Fez, where the Oud and Qanun are the most commonly played instruments.
